The molo philosophy

The problem was never that you're lazy.

Open most running apps and they want your pace. There's a streak to break, a plan to fall behind on, and a number that used to be better. None of that helps when you're starting out or starting over. It just says, over and over, that you're behind.

“Molo” means slow down, take it easy, do it on purpose. Consistency beats intensity, and molo adapts around the tired days, the sore days, and the ones where life gets in the way. A rigid plan only works until it doesn't.

None of it matters more than the fact that you moved. That's the whole thing. Running is just the excuse to get out the door.

The molo philosophy

Walking today. Running by the end. Surprised the whole way.

1

No such thing as too unfit

Never run, stopped years ago, coming back from injury. The plan shapes itself around your body.

2

Nothing to think about

It tells you when to run and when to walk. No clock, no maths, no guessing your way through it.

3

Say it hurt,
it listens

It asks how that felt. Say something hurt and you repeat the session instead of pushing on.

4

One day you're a runner

Not overnight, not because you were pushed. Just one session at a time until it's what you do.

The Molorun app is these four rules, turned into a habit.
