Molorun (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Right now, before launch, the main thing we collect is your email address, when you choose to join our waitlist. If you contact us directly, we also keep whatever you send us (such as your message and email).
If you leave a comment on a journal post, we store the name and comment text you submit. Comments are public and shown to other visitors on that post.
When you join the waitlist, leave a comment, or like a post, we briefly store your IP address alongside that action. This is only used to prevent spam and abuse (for example, limiting how many comments or waitlist signups can come from the same source in a short period), not to track or identify you.
We use Google Analyticsand Vercel Analytics to understand how people use the site — pages visited, general device/location info, and where visitors came from. Google Analytics sets cookies to do this. We use this data in aggregate to improve the site; we don't use it to identify you individually.
We don't sell your data. We don't share your email with advertisers. We only send what you signed up for, and you can leave the list any time by emailing us — we don't currently send automated emails with an unsubscribe link, so email is the way to opt out.
Your information is stored with the service providers we use to run the site — our database and hosting provider, plus Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics for usage data. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security terms.
For anything privacy-related, email us at info@molorun.com and we'll help.
